LOS ANGELES, CA: Angelina Jolie is now considered the ‘Jane Doe’ who sued her ex-husband Brad Pitt.
In 2016, she reportedly filed a case asking for an investigation into allegations of physical and verbal abuse. Jolie and Pitt split in 2019. But there was a lot of confusion as to who Jane Doe was. This news comes as the couple are fighting hard to get their divorce.
According to Puck News, it is now clear that the unnamed plaintiff in the lawsuit is the actress. When Pitt and Jolie flew on a private jet with their children in 2016, Jolie said she was physically and verbally abused by Pitt. The lawsuit asked the FBI to give Jolie documents from its investigation into Pitt. “This relates to the agency’s investigation into an incident of domestic violence that occurred several years ago in which the plaintiff and her minor children were victims and witnesses,” Jane Doe said in her lawsuit.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt still love and hate each other and she doesn’t want the divorce process to end, a source says.
Puck News also said that Doe’s lawsuit stated, “A few years ago, when the plaintiff, her then-husband and their children, who were all minors at the time, were traveling on a private plane, the husband allegedly physically and verbally abused the plaintiff and the children.” The lawsuit was also filed to “better understand the FBI’s investigation and obtain the information their children need to obtain medical care and counseling for trauma.”
Amanda Kramer, a well-known attorney representing the plaintiff, said Doe’s lawsuit was filed anonymously to “protect the family’s privacy.” Doe has also asked the department many times for a copy of her investigation file so she can learn more about the FBI’s investigation. The FBI determined Brad Pitt did nothing wrong in a fight that took place on a private jet. In the lawsuit that Jolie filed, she says Pitt touched her and poured beer on her during the flight. He was said to be drunk as he took her to the back of the plane, grabbing her shoulders and shaking her while yelling, “You’re ruining this family!”

Puck’s story goes that Jolie was upset that there wasn’t enough information as to why the investigation was dropped so quickly. The FBI later said Pitt would not be charged. But before making the statement, the agent investigating the incident made a “statement of probable cause.” It was handed over to the Chief of Criminal Investigation at the US Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles. But the chief of crime decided not to pursue Pitt with any charges. Another physical attack is said to have taken place on the same flight. Meanwhile, Jolie told her agent that she was injured and sent a photo of her elbow to prove it. This is said to be the same flight on which Maddox, the couple’s eldest son, was met by Brad. But the actor has said that’s not true.
Sources close to the couple told TMZ that Jolie only filed the lawsuit to draw media attention to the allegations against Brad. They said she had all the information she needed for years. But Jolie is said to have complained that there was too little information about the investigation. In 2005, they met on the set of the film Mr. and Mrs. Smith and dated for almost a decade. This led to them finally getting married in September 2014. But in 2016, Jolie asked for a divorce. Although they haven’t been married since 2019, the custody dispute has been going on for a while.
