Applause is due for the mother’s mental alertness during pregnancy. Who exactly is Charleen Gonzalez and where can we find her currently? let’s find out

Who is Charleen Gonzalez?

On November 15, 2008, Charleen Chuke Gonzalez and Dr. Jorge Mario Gonzalez Zamora tied the knot at the family home in Bellville, Texas. There the ceremony took place. She had already given birth to her first child, a son named Mario Raphael Gonzalez, when she discovered she was pregnant with her second child. February 17, 2010 was set as the cut-off date, which was also the 57th birthday of the attending physician. However, a sad theft planned by her ranch hand, Noel Galvan-Cerna, would result in the doctor being murdered and he will never see his second child in his entire life.

On August 22, 2009, an Austin County dispatcher received a call from Charleen, who dialed 911. As she cried on the phone, the dispatcher could hear gunfire in the background. She could utter the words, “There are some boys in our house! You’re being shot at by my spouse! In addition, she said, “My man… oh Lord! My son, who is only a year and a half, plays outside. Oh my god I think I just heard my husband. After receiving the call, the police arrived at the scene within minutes and found that Jorge had been fatally shot, that Noel had been shot in the arm and that Raphael was crying. While the other two stood on the porch, the doctor lay lifeless on the floor.

As soon as they entered the home, officers heard Charleen scream from the bathroom. After the terrified mother and her sobbing child were reunited, police broke the news that her husband had been killed. She reflected on the situation and said, “The cop who was walking with me told me that Mario didn’t make it.” And at that point, my knees just gave out and he picked me up. After leaving her Houston home, Charleen went on to describe to officers how she and her husband traveled to their ranch around 11:45 a.m.

Charleen was busy unpacking the suitcase while Noel and Raphael played outside and Jorge went inside. Describing how she saw the attackers, she said, “I turned to my right and I see this man, he’s dressed all in black, with a mask, and he was coming towards me.” She went on to describe how she fended off the attackers. I screamed and my body practically carried me to the house when I got there. While her husband continued to fend off the attackers with his pistol, she barricaded herself in the toilet with her cellphone and hid there until her husband returned. She remembered this much later and said: “After a few shots everything went quiet.” And suddenly two masked men in the room looked at me.

“That’s when I realized I was probably going to die that day,” Charleen continued. An attempt was made to open the door to the toilet at exactly the same time as the previous event. And I used all my energy to prevent him from entering the toilet. She couldn’t keep it closed. She continued by saying, “He opened that door and he put a gun to my face and … I think he’s out of ammo right now. And he just left. I looked out the window at the same time and saw the guys who were there suddenly storming away.”

Where can I find Charleen Gonzalez at this time?

Charleen also provided authorities with information about Noel’s employment history with the family. She further explained that he is her family’s nanny, Esperanza’s son, and that he drives her to work every day. In 2008, Jorge offered the young man a job opportunity at the ranch. She added: “When I first met Esperanza she seemed extremely lovely and sweet and she was a little shy. She did a wonderful job and Baby Mario really seemed to like her. Here’s what Charleen said of Noel when asked about him: “Noel was quite an amazing kid and we considered him family.”

Charleen was present throughout the trial, at which two of the defendants were found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. In February 2010, she gave birth to her second child, a son named Giovanni. She is now known by her new married name, Charleen Gonzalez Burleson, having recently entered into another marriage. Charleen has, for understandable reasons, decided to keep her personal life private from the public and that includes her whereabouts. On the other hand, it is very likely that she will still remain in Texas.
