What happened to Chris Jewel?
Chris was shown near the end of the film getting into serious danger after losing control of the guide rope and being forced to slide into the cave’s pit. This happened at the end of the film. Apparently somewhat disoriented, he was forced to leave without being given any warranties or guarantees as to his orientation.
The audience can see that it is still raining, and despite the volunteers’ efforts, it appears that the cave is about to be flooded again. Despite their efforts, viewers can see that the cave is being flooded. The journey home for Jason and Chai was uneventful.
Chris was spotted trying to get to safety with his son, although the surroundings left him a little unsettled and at a loss. Afterwards, witnesses saw him crouch down and wait for reinforcements to arrive. Rick wasn’t too far from the spot and told him to sit down and continue to wait for Harry. He also gave him extensive instructions to follow Harry’s orders and he left him there.
When Harry finally got to Chris’s, he conducted a thorough examination of the boy before leaving. After a brief chat between the two, Harry was spotted taking charge of transporting the boy. It was around this time that the last few Navy Seals were observed emerging from the caves.
Meanwhile, everyone was seen nervously awaiting the arrival of Chris and the other Navy Seals, at which point Harry arrived with the boy.
At the very end, it turned out that Chris had actually survived the ordeal. But before anyone could celebrate, the amount of water built up quite a bit and the last group of seals to surface found themselves in a precarious situation.
Eventually the pumps started to explode and it seemed like the cave would have to be evacuated immediately. Before the celebrations could begin, the remaining seals were observed leaving the area one by one. When they finally reached the safe place, the divers felt relieved; Chris, on the other hand, seemed very taken aback by his brief call.
