While they were playing Fortnite, Bodine introduced himself to him, according to the abuse victim, now 16. The teenager received messages from Marka, an English teacher, between April 2020 and February 2021. She emailed the boy numerous graphic photos of herself.

Following allegations of sexual abuse by Marka Bodine, her husband filed for divorce, and rightly so. Both the mother and the teacher are accused of assault and child abuse.
The diary read according to court records. Ms Bodine has since admitted molesting her underage student. After he “begged for help” with police in March 2021, she stopped making frequent trips to her student’s home. The sexual relationship was abusive for over two years.
Her husband, who was unaware of all her activities, made the decision to divorce her ex-husband Bodine as soon as he learned the truth. He said that she acted in this way behind his back and that he was kept in the dark from the police investigation into the situation.

Charges against Marka Bodine
Marka Bodine was sentenced to 60 days in prison, 10 years probation and must be on the sex offender register for the rest of her life.
She was temporarily released from detention after the birth of her child, but she will be sent back there after June 2023. It all started when the victim was just 13 years old, back in 2018. After befriending him while playing Fortnite, Bodine started sending him explicit pictures and videos.
At the same time she was an English teacher at Tomball Intermediate School in Texas. Her LinkedIn profile shows that she has been a Tomball ISD English teacher for more than six years.
Fortunately, the 32-year-old was sentenced to a very light sentence, despite prosecutors’ demands that she serve more than 20 years in prison.
