Jarrett is also known as one of the most influential aides. ABC acted quickly to end “Roseanne” after the tweet received significant backlash.
In retrospect, she expressed her regret, but it was already too late. In announcing the cancellation of the program, ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey called Barr’s tweet “disgusting,” “disgusting,” and “inconsistent with her beliefs.”
Did Roseanne Barr Post Racist Tweets?
In 2018, Roseanne Barr sent out a tweet that many people felt was racist, prompting internet outrage. In her tweet, she made the analogy between Valerie Jarrett and an animal.
