Kelsea Ballerini became the first woman since Carrie Underwood in 2006 to have her debut single top the country airplay chart.
The Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts feature seven of her songs from her first two albums, The First Time and Unapologetically.
“Love Me Like You Mean It,” her first single, was the one that changed Carrie Underwood’s story. The musical prodigy started writing songs at a young age, which was impressive and set him up for a bright future in the business.
Kelsea Ballerini and her husband Morgan Evans have no children
The “Dibs” and “Peter Pan” singer found love in 2016 when she met Morgan Evans, an Australian country singer. They had just started dating in March and they got engaged a few months later, just before Christmas that year.
A year later, on December 2, 2017, these two singers tied the knot in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Since then, Kelsea and Morgan’s marriage has been going well.
While married, they had no children because they were happy with their musical marriage and got along well.
Their days were filled with love, music and supporting each other in their country music careers.
Evans is also a country music singer and songwriter. In March 2014 he released his first studio album called Evans. When his debut album peaked at number 20 on the ARIA Albums Chart, he became a big hit on the Australian country music scene.
Over the next year he made great strides. His second studio album, Things That We Drink To, won the ARIA Award for Best Country Album.
Morgan also rose to fame in the United States, according to The Music Network, when his song “Kiss Somebody” became a crossover hit in 2017.
So the award-winning couple enjoyed their marriage without having a child and are now on the verge of divorcing in 2022.

Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans are getting divorced but no one knows why
After five years of marriage, the musician couple decided to end their relationship.
Kelsea told Morgan Evans on August 29 that they were getting a divorce, but she didn’t say why. Kelsea was the first person to break the news to her ex-husband.
Evans wrote on his Instagram Stories: “I am extremely saddened that Kelsea and I are separating after almost 5 years of marriage. I wish things were different, but they aren’t.”
US Magazine was one of the first news outlets to confirm the news. The exact reason why the two are no longer together is still a mystery.
Kelsea’s statement confirms that she and Morgan will recover and instead focus on their careers.
The couple used to live together in Tennessee, Kelsea’s home state. Morgan, on the other hand, hails from Newcastle, New South Wales.
Morgan will remain in the US after his divorce because he wants to focus on his career.
Kelsea Ballerini comes from wealthy parents and a family background that has helped her in her career
Kelsea, a country singer who made history, was certain she would do well in business when her family supported her singing dreams.
Her parents were also sure to give her the education and confidence she needed to pursue a career in music.
Kelsea Ballerini was born on September 12, 1993 in Tennessee to Ed and Carla Ballerini. She was her only child.
Her father was a sales manager at a country radio station and her mother worked in the marketing department of Thomas Nelson Bible Publishing and a sponsorship company.
The “Peter Pan” singer has Italian ancestry through her father, who is of Italian descent.
Since her parents both worked in important jobs, they made sure that their only child grew up healthy and happy.
So Ed and Carla still believed in Kelsea’s goal of making it big in the music or entertainment business. The 28-year-old country singer started dancing when she was three years old but quit after ten.
The Sun said Kelsea was a big fan of Britney Spears when she was young and often did the “Britney Growl”. Ed often told this story to his friends.
Kelsea and her parents now have a great relationship. Ed and Carla go to many of their daughter’s events and take photos with her.
Ballerini grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee. Her father Ed is part Italian and used to be a sales manager for a country radio station. Carla, her mother, worked in marketing for a Bible publisher called Thomas Nelson and for a company that helps people find sponsors. She has no siblings. She started with Premiere Dance Studio in Seymour, Tennessee at the age of three and quit at the age of ten. She sang in the church and school choirs. She wrote her first song when she was 12 and gave it to her mother. Three years later she moved to Nashville, Tennessee. She attended Central High School in Knoxville, Tennessee and Centennial High School in Franklin, Tennessee. She then spent two years at Lipscomb University before turning to music.
At 19 she signed a contract with Black River Entertainment. In late 2014, she released her debut single, “Love Me Like You Mean It,” which debuted on the Country Airplay Charts in October 2014. In November she released an EP for the label called “Self-Titled”. In 2014, CMT named her one of the country’s Next Women. On February 14, 2015, she sang at the Grand Ole Opry for the first time. The song she sang was “Love Me Like You Mean It”. Ballerini’s debut album, The First Time, was released on May 19, 2015 by Black River. For the July 4, 2015 charting, the album’s first single “Love Me Like You Mean It” reached number one on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. This made Ballerini the first solo country artist since Carrie Underwood’s “Jesus, Take the Wheel” in 2006 to have a number one hit with her debut single, and only the eleventh in history to do so. When “Dibs” hit the top of the country airplay chart, Ballerini became the first solo country artist since Jamie O’Neal in 2001 to have consecutive number one hits with her first two singles. She is one of only five solo country artists to do so.
Ballerini in 2014
“Peter Pan” is the third single from the album. It aired on country radio on March 21, 2016. In September, “Peter Pan” topped both the Country Airplay and Hot Country Songs charts. This made Ballerini the first solo country artist to top both charts simultaneously. That feat also made her the first solo woman to send her first three singles to number one since Wynonna Judd accomplished the same feat in 1992. “Yeah Boy”, the fourth single from the album, was released on country radio on October 10, 2016.
From 2017 to 2019 he won’t apologize for coaching “The Voice” and joining the Grand Ole Opry.

The album debuted at number three on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart and at number seven on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart. This was her highest charting album on both charts.
“I Hate Love Songs” was the second single from the album. It came out in March. In September 2018, she announced that she would release a deluxe version of the album with four new songs. EDM pop duo The Chainsmokers released a song titled “This Feeling” on September 18, 2018 featuring Ballerini. The song was later played at the 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in November. Unapologetically’s third and final single, Miss Me More, was released in October 2018. In October, she sang “Dance With Me,” a song by her husband Morgan Evans. Little Big Town asked Kelsea Ballerini to join the Grand Ole Opry on March 5, 2019. Carrie Underwood made her a member of the Grand Ole Opry on April 16, 2019. In April 2019, Ballerini embarked on the Miss Me More Tour to promote Unapologetically. Ballerini sold several shows on the tour, so it was a hit.
