‘House of the Dragon’ Teases Arrival of ‘Dragon Dynasty’ With Fiery Poster, Fans Say ‘We’re Ready’

With just a few days left until House of the Dragons comes out, HBO is doing everything it can to get people even more excited.

But it looks like the network has no plans at all to stop it. The network has just released a new poster for the upcoming fantasy drama series about the fall of House Targaryen.

Prince Daemon Targaryen, played by Matt Smith, looks angry and ready for battle in the latest poster of the Game of Thrones prequel series. In the background of the poster is a fire-breathing dragon. This is definitely the best look at one of the flying beasts. The title of the caption reads “The Dragon Dynasty”. Although it’s hard to tell which dragon is on the poster, Daemon is also on it, so it’s probably safe to assume it’s Caraxes, aka Blood Wyrm, who is Daemon’s dragon. Daemon isn’t the only Targaryen to have ridden the beast. Prince Aemon Targaryen rode the dragon and used it in several battles before he did. So during the “Dance of the Dragons” he was big, strong, scary and one of the dragons with the most combat experience.

While fans loved the poster and were excited to get a better look at the dragons, they only hope the show will be better than the final season of Game of Thrones. One fan wrote, “Please make it better than Game of Thrones.” Another fan wrote, “We’re ready.” Another fan wrote, “These five days left will feel like a thousand years.” Another person on social Media liked how Caraxes looked on the poster and tweeted, “Caraxes my boy looks lovely.” At the same time, another fan said that this show has big shoes to fill. He wrote: “No pressure at all. But here you have to endure a lot.

The poster definitely got people excited and they can’t wait to see just how different the new show will be from Game of Thrones that came before it. In House of the Dragon, set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, House Targaryen rules Westeros, making it the greatest and most evil kingdom in the world. It is the story of how a powerful kingdom fell apart during a civil war.
