In the penultimate episode, Ellen comes out as gay and doesn’t tell Larry about his affair. In the final episode of Season 3, Stranger in a Strange Land, Ellen is asked to quit her job. Ellen is considering quitting, but we don’t see what she’s doing. In the final seconds of the episode, Ellen sees Pamela “Pam” Horton again. The scene gives the impression that Ellen is finally finding out who she really is and has left the chaos of her political career behind.
Does Jodi Balfour have plans to leave For All Mankind?
Actress Jodi Balfour plays Ellen Wilson, whose real name is Ellen Waverly, in the film For All Mankind. Balfour is known for her roles as Jackie Kennedy on The Crown and Lori on True Detective. In all three seasons of “For All Mankind” the actress is listed as a regular cast member. But due to what happened to Balfour’s character, the actress’ future on the show is shrouded in doubt.
In the final episode of Season 3, Ellen starts over and gives up everything she’s worked for. Because of this, the ending could be a natural ending to the character’s journey. Because of this, the character could be taken out of the series. But so far, Balfour hasn’t said she’s leaving the show. Also, the show’s creators and network haven’t said anything suggesting that Balfour may be leaving the show anytime soon.
