Storyline by Terrifier

A man sits in front of a small TV where a talk show host named Monica Brown is interviewing a severely disfigured woman. The woman is the sole survivor of a massacre that took place on Halloween the previous year. Brown reveals that the body of the killer, referred to only as “Art the Clown”, could not be found in the morgue, leading to the assumption that he is still alive. Despite this, the disfigured woman insists she was present when he died. The man kicks the television with such force that it shatters the glass, and then proceeds to throw sharp objects into a garbage bag. After the interview, Monica makes derogatory remarks about the respondent’s appearance when she calls her boyfriend. The comments are aimed at the interviewee. After hanging up, the deformed woman, who had overheard her attacks on Monica, gouges out both of her eyes and then laughs maniacally as she appears to have killed her.

On Halloween night, two friends named Tara and Dawn leave a Halloween party and make a drunken trip back to Dawn’s car. There they meet a strange man dressed as a clown. They are followed to a nearby pizzeria by the man known as Art the Clown. After a short time, the restaurant owner forcibly removes Art from the restaurant because he smeared the walls of the toilet with his own feces. After discovering that one of Dawn’s car tires has a puncture, the girls call Tara’s sister, Vicky, and ask her to come and get her. As she waits, Tara asks Mike, who works as a pest control specialist in an abandoned apartment building, if she can enter the building to use the restroom. Mike grants her request. When Tara finally makes it inside, she is confronted by a woman known only as the “Cat Person” who is under the impression that the doll she is carrying is her real baby. Art then makes his way back to the pizzeria and murders and mutilates the two employees there before kidnapping Dawn.

Shortly after entering the apartment building, Tara comes face to face with Art. He pursues her through the interior mechanic’s garage and stabs her with a scalpel as they near the end of the building. She tries to warn Mike, but Art stuns her instead. Tara wakes up to find herself tied to a chair, and Art reveals that Dawn is hanging from the ceiling in an inverted position. He has Tara watch as he cuts Dawn in half with a hacksaw, and he does it in front of her. Tara escapes, but Art quickly pulls out his gun and ends her life. This is something the cat lady sees and she asks Mike to call the authorities. Mike quickly assumes she is delusional, but Art quickly knocks him out with a hammer blow. The cat lady discovers Art rocking her doll. She tries to show Art motherly compassion in hopes that he will give her “child” back. She does this as a plea for the return of her “child”.

Vicky comes to take Tara and Dawn home, but Art distracts her and leads her to the basement. There she finds what she believes to be an injured Tara, but it turns out to be Art, who has severely mutilated the cat lady, wearing her scalp and breasts. Tara was just a product of her imagination. Mike’s colleague shows up looking for him, but before he can talk to Mike, Art decapitates him. Vicky manages to escape Art, but is stopped by the discovery of her sister’s body.

Art then attacks her with a makeshift Cat-o-Nine-Tails, but Mike unexpectedly shows up and knocks Art unconscious, rendering him unable to continue. The two run away and choose 9-1-1, but Art intercepts them just as they are about to flee, killing Mike. Vicky runs for cover at a nearby garage, but Art follows her there and rams a pickup truck through the door, further aggravating Vicky’s injuries. As she lies helpless on the ground, Art begins to eat her face. When police arrive, Art shoots himself in the mouth with a pistol to evade capture before officers can apprehend him.

The deceased art body is transported to a morgue, where it is kept alongside the bodies of its other victims. After the coroner opens the body bag containing Art’s remains, Art comes back to life and eventually kills himself by suffocating himself. Vicky is released from the hospital after undergoing rehabilitation a year later for the injuries Art inflicted on her. She is the severely disfigured woman featured in the film’s opening scene, and as a result the events of the entire film took place the year before.
