Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck got married in Las Vegas over the weekend.
On Sunday, July 17, the 52-year-old singer wrote in her On the JLo newsletter: “So with the best witnesses imaginable, a dress from an old movie and a jacket from Ben’s closet, we read our own vows in the small chapel and handing each other the rings we will wear for the rest of our lives,” he added, adding that the ceremony “was exactly what we wanted.” But now we know the surprise nuptials won’t be the only way to show how much they love each other.
People hear from a source that “is planning a bigger party so they can celebrate with family and friends.” Insiders at TMZ say the party will be held at Ben’s home in Riceboro, Georgia, which is on the coast just outside of Savannah. It appears that JLo recently went to the property to plan a party and Ben may have been there too. The People source said of honeymoon: “They haven’t decided on honeymoon yet. Jennifer says that every day she spends with Ben is like a vacation. Meanwhile, no one knows when Bennifer’s second wedding will take place.
Ben’s $7 million home in Georgia
There are four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms in the two story villa. There are also two smaller buildings on the property that have more bedrooms. Ben paid just over $7 million for the house in 2003 while he was still dating Jennifer. The Oscar-winner put the home on the market for nearly $9 million in 2019, but no one seemed interested.
Several Hollywood stars and the bride and groom’s families are expected at the big party. Jennifer’s twins Max and Emme, as well as her mother Guadalupe, father David and sisters Lynda and Leslie are her closest family members. Leah Remini, Jane Fonda and Renee Zellweger are some of her most famous friends. Violet, Seraphina and Samuel are Ben’s three children. He also gets along well with his mother Chris and his brother Casey. Matt Damon and George Clooney are two of his famous friends.
The source continued, “Jennifer has been certain that’s been the case since they started dating again. She looks forward to growing old with Ben. She is happy and content with Ben. She couldn’t have asked for more. She thinks everything is great.”
