John Robinson, a 78-year-old Illinois resident who was also a serial killer and kidnapper, was jailed on the death penalty after killing three women over a fifteen-year period.
In fact, he began stealing thousands of dollars from doctors before he went on a killing spree in 1984. He began hiring innocent ladies and murdering them while forging letters to confirm their survival.
He then deceived Lisa Stasi and her child into living a good life and disqualified her suicide.
He never showed any sign of remorse at any point in his trial and even went back to court to try to have the death penalty overturned.

After being suspected of sexual harassment, he was eventually arrested at his property in June 2000, providing detectives with the probable ground they needed to obtain search warrants.
They prematurely searched his home and discovered the decomposing bodies of Lewicka and Trouten in two 85-pound drums of chemicals.
After further investigation, they discovered two garages with three other bodies, each with fatal head injuries.

After dropping out of college, he later married Nancy Jo Lynch and had twins Christopher and Christine in 1967, as well as John Jr., a daughter, and Kimberly.
Eventually, due to his activities, his wife filed for divorce after 40 years of marriage.
