The American journalist will instead provide monthly features, unique coverage across a range of platforms including Peacock, special coverage for Noticias Telemundo and more.
Because of his position as news anchor, he will be the only anchor presenting national cable and broadcast television newscasts in both English and Spanish, according to the NBC News article.
