Nude photos of female athletes went viral after the historic win
The private and explicit photos of four prominent British sportswomen have been taken from their devices and published online. Just days after the England Lionesses’ historic European Cup triumph over Germany, the photos were leaked and quickly went viral on social media.
Successful women share explicit and nude photos on WhatsApp without their permission. One of the victims of the crime is a professional athlete who competes in the Commonwealth Games. One of the celebrities is a well-known former member of the Lionesses and another is a current Women’s Super League player. Other unidentified people who appear to be associates or close friends of the celebrity may also be seen in the photos.

“Suddenly everyone can define the word woman,” cheered the enthusiastic crowd after the unbelievable Euro victory of the English lionesses.
Pictures taken in what appeared to be hotel rooms or shower facilities were among the private locations that went viral following England’s historic victory over Germany. All celebrities are taking strict measures to remove the private images and films from the dark web, but it’s still unclear how the images ended up in the public domain.
Many social media users saw explicit images, one of which read: “They all gathered just before the EURO final. It is a blatant attempt to undercut the achievements of women’s sport, which has just been so successful. It is unfortunate that this started during Euros when the Lionesses were doing so well.”
Commons Women and Equality Committee chair Caroline Nokes condemned the unlawful act and slapped the users who shared the images. “When you compete on the sporting stage, you should be able to focus on what you’re doing and not have to accept this misogynist behavior,” said the Conservative MP.
Nokes added: “Our female athletes shouldn’t put up with that corny objectification when they’re outperforming men in sport. Even though we’ve made tremendous strides toward equality, the fact that we’re still often objectified reminds us when the going gets tough. Still, people talk about them more for their looks than what they’ve achieved.”
The illegal attack was also addressed by a representative from the National Cyber Security Center, who called it “absolutely heinous”. It said: “We strongly advise everyone to take precautions to secure their internet accounts as it is abhorrent to access and then share someone else’s data. Where available, the NCSC recommends users to enable two-factor authentication.”
“Also, to reduce the chance of being hacked, we recommend using a strong password made up of three random words, and we recommend using a different password for each important account. The NCSC’s Cyber Aware website offers practical security measures “They have been added.
