Courtney Clenney, a 26-year-old model from OnlyFans, stabbed her 27-year-old boyfriend, Christian Obumseli, to death on April 3. On August 10, she was arrested and charged with second-degree murder with a deadly weapon. In a statement, Hawaii County Police said they helped the US Marshals Service capture the OnlyFans model in Laupahoehoe. Police reportedly used an arrest warrant from Miami-Dade County, Florida.
After four months of investigations into Obumseli’s death, the person who did it was caught. The model’s arrest was confirmed by her defense attorney, Frank Prieto, on the afternoon of August 10. He said Clenney was in rehab for substance abuse and post-traumatic stress disorder in Hawaii, the Miami Herald reported. Clenney is believed to be suicidal after the murder and has spent time in a psychiatric hospital. He said, “I’m completely shocked, especially since we helped with the investigation and offered to release her if she’s charged.” He also said, “We hope the court will clear her name.” The AP says that Clenney , also known as Courtney Tailor, is being held at the East Hawaii Detention Center and will appear in court on August 11 in Hilo District Court.
The details of the murder
Clenney, who has two million followers on Instagram, is said to have obumseil on April 3. As previously stated, Clenney called the police at 5pm on April 3 and they found that her boyfriend had been stabbed once in the shoulder.
Clenney’s lawyer says Obumseli grabbed her by the throat and forced her to stab him. He said that they were no longer friends at the time of the attack and that Obumseli had followed her for a few weeks before attacking her. Her friends have also said that she was the abusive one in her relationship with her late boyfriend. But her lawyers say she is a “victim of domestic violence,” but Obumseli’s family and friends say that’s not true. Prieto had previously told Rolling Stone, “She tried as best she could to provide first aid and she called 911. She became covered in his blood while trying to save his life.”
