The first three episodes of Selena + Chef Season 4 will premiere on HBO Max on August 18 at 3:30am ET. Selena Gomez is shown on the show learning how to cook summer cooking from celebrity chefs over video calls at a Malibu beach house.

Ten chefs will appear on the show in season four. A New York Times bestselling author named Priya Krishna will also be in the program to teach Selena how to make dahi toast with cilantro chutney.

Who is Priya Krishna, the guest chef of Selena + Chef Season 4?

Cookbook author Priya Krishna is from Dallas, Texas. She works as a reporter for Times Food and in 2019 and 2021 her articles were included in The Best American Food Writing.

Priya attended Greenhill School until she graduated. She graduated from Dartmouth College with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Affairs. At the same college she received her degree in French.

In 2013, Priya worked as a prep cook for Murphy’s on the Green. She also worked as a marketing manager for Lucky Peach for three years. She has worked for The New Yorker, Eater and TASTE and is also a well-known YouTube personality.

Her books Indian-ish and Cooking at Home: Or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying About Recipes became New York Times bestsellers (And Love My Microwave). Krishna worked for Bon Appétit’s cooking YouTube channel in 2018 and left the company in 2020 due to discriminatory wages.

Details about the program

The fourth season of Selena + Chef follows Selena Gomez as she spends the summer with her family and friends at a Malibu beach house while trying to learn new cooking techniques from chefs online. The fourth season of Hannah Montana was taped at the same beach house where Miley Cyrus filmed the first three seasons.

Gordon Ramsay, the show’s first in-house guest chef, will be making an appearance this season. Alongside Gordon Ramsay and Priya Krishna, Adrienne Cheatha, DeVonn Francis, Kristen Kish, Ludo Lefebvre, Matty Matheson, Nick DiGiovanni, Paola Velez and Rachael Ray will appear on the show over the internet. To keep the cooking process “light, bright and fun,” the chefs will advise the actress to step out of her culinary comfort zone and cook up unusual dishes.

The first three episodes of Selena + Chef will air Thursday, August 18 on HBO Max. On August 25th, the next three episodes of the program will be made available on HBO Max, and the final four will be available on September 1st :01 ET, all episodes will be made available on the streaming site.
