Tanner Boser will face Ze Columbia in the upcoming UFC Fight Night event, which will be refereed by Sandhagen vs. Song.

Mixed martial arts career

Boser made his debut in the world of professional mixed martial arts in 2012, despite having no serious training other than his background in karate. After the success of his first fight, Boser began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in preparation for his second fight, which he eventually won using submission techniques he had only recently acquired.

He relocated to Edmonton, Alberta in 2013 to pursue a career in mixed martial arts while still working as a bouncer for six years. After struggling for a time to make ends meet in 2016, Boser decided to focus on other opportunities and enrolled in hopes of becoming a paramedic. A desire to compete, on the other hand, would lead him to return to training MMA full-time, which would eventually lead to Boser traveling the world competing in nine different nations.

Over the next seven years he went on to an admirable record of 16-5-1. During that tenure, he won the Unified MMA Heavyweight Championship a total of two times and successfully defended his title three times. and has also taken part in fights in other countries. His travels have taken him to places such as Kazakhstan, Russia, United Arab Emirates, England and Australia for various promotions such as fighting for the Absolute Championship Akhmat and M-1 Global. On the evening of July 27, 2019, Boser was scheduled to make his MMA debut against Brazilian contender Giacomo Lemos at UFC 240 in Edmonton, Alberta. Boser was scheduled to face Ciryl Gane at UFC Fight Night 165 on December 21, 2019. He was defeated by a decision made by all the judges.

The fight between Boser and Jeff Hughes was scheduled to take place on March 28, 2020 during UFC on ESPN: Ngannou vs. Rozenstruik. However, given the widespread COVID-19 outbreak, the event was cancelled.

Boser fought Philipe Lins after returning to action during the COVID-19 epidemic on June 27, 2020 during the UFC on ESPN event featuring Poirier vs. Hooker. He knocked out his opponent in the first round to claim the win. Because of this win, he received the Performance of the Night award.
