A 13-year-old boy was injured by Marka Bodine, a 31-year-old tomball ISD teacher. Her husband divorced her as soon as she told him what she had done.
She was found guilty of sexually abusing a child for three years but only had to serve 60 days in prison. But because Bodine just had a baby, she won’t be locked up again until June 2023.
The abuse victim, now 16, said Bodine met him when they were playing Fortnite. Marka, an English teacher, began texting the teen between April 2020 and February 2021. She sent the child many pictures of herself that were very sexual.

That’s right, because Marka Bodine’s husband filed for divorce after she was accused of sexual abuse. The woman and the teacher are charged with assault and child abuse.
The Journal said the court papers said so. Ms Bodine has since admitted molesting a student who was too young to be her student. She went to her student’s home several times a month until March 2021, when he called the police to “ask for help,” and she eventually stopped. More than two years passed during which the sexual relationship was abusive.
Her husband was unaware of all of her activities, and when he found out the truth, he didn’t even flinch when he decided to divorce Bodine. He said that she did all of these things behind his back and that he didn’t know anything about it until the police started investigating.

Marka Bodine was sentenced to 60 days in prison and 10 years probation. She must remain on the sex offender registry for the rest of her life.
She was briefly released from prison after the birth of her child, but will have to return there in June 2023. It all started in 2018, when the victim was just 13 years old. After befriending him through Fortnite, Bodine sent him pornographic images and videos.
She also worked as an English teacher at Tomball Intermediate School in Texas. According to her LinkedIn page, she has been teaching English at Tomball ISD for more than six years.
Although the public prosecutor’s office demanded more than 20 years in prison for her, the 32-year-old was sentenced to a relatively light sentence.
