After eight seasons of Game of Thrones, fans should have developed very strong stomachs, but based on how well the new prequel series House of the Dragon is performing, it doesn't seem like they have.

Having said that, several viewers claimed that the show's opening episode made them want to "vomit.

"On Sunday, August 21, the first episode of House of the Dragon appeared, and one scene in particular,

 according to the New York Post, lit up social media. When a potentially dangerous situation arises, Queen Aemma (Sian Brooke) is in the middle of giving birth.

 King Viserys I Targaryen (Paddy Considine), her husband, decides to have the baby via Caesarean section, sometimes known as a C section, which would kill the Queen.

While she cries out in anguish and begs her husband to stop, she is tied against her will by a doctor who executes the treatment. The graphic nature of the photograph offended some viewers.
