Jaclyn Selesky is a meteorologist from Tucson, Arizona and has worked as a weather forecaster for KOLD News 13 since November 2018. She has also worked at KNDU/KNDO-TV as a producer, during the weekends as a host, and a weather forecaster.
Before joining KOLD News, she gained experience in journalism by interning for various news organizations including Comcast, Chicago Foodseum, The Columbia Chronicle, NBC News and CBS News.

The metrologists each hold Bachelor of Arts degrees, with Jaclyn receiving her first Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Media Studies from Florida State University and her second Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College of Chicago.

Prior to moving to Tucson, Jaclyn held positions as a presenter, reporter, and primary support weatherman for a television station in the Tri-Cities area of Washington. There she came to the conclusion that the field of meteorology is the field in which she would like to work full-time.
After completing her undergraduate studies at Florida State University, where she studied environmental science and media communications, Jaclyn completed her undergraduate studies at Columbia College Chicago, where she focused on broadcast journalism.
She is a student at Mississippi State University where she is currently working towards earning a Certificate in Broadcast and Operational Meteorology. There are only a few semesters left before she graduates from high school.
When she’s not at work, Jaclyn takes advantage of the beautiful scenery Tucson has to offer by hiking, running, or attending torrid yoga classes to work up a sweat and get a little extra warmth.
