No doubt dr. Anthony Fauci has a lot of money. But new reports say that when he retires, he will receive a pension that is higher than what President Biden receives as a salary.
A study found that the first-year pension payment for the White House medical adviser will be $414,000. That’s more than the president’s salary of $400,000. Fauci said he will retire at the end of the Biden administration, so the analysis is based on the idea that he will quit his job in January 2025.
Open the Books did an analysis and found that the 81-year-old currently earns a federal salary of $480,654 and is projected to make $530,000 a year through 2024 in the last few years. He made all the headlines when he was still the highest-paid federal employee in the entire government in 2020 and 2021. For a long time he headed the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). During the first pandemic, Fauci was the face of the Trump administration. However, his relationship with Trump became stale because Trump disliked Fauci’s cautious approach to lockdown.
Fauci told Politico earlier this week that he no longer wanted this Covid to be politicized because the virus wasn’t going anywhere anytime soon. “We’re in a pattern now,” he said. If someone says, ‘You’ll leave when we don’t have Covid’, I’ll be 105 years old. I think that’s something we need to address.” He also said he’s not staying in his current job because he feels he has to. Bureaucrats who have been in their jobs for a long time usually walk away with a comfortable pension. We know this because the Office of Human Resources gives 80 percent of bureaucrats their three best-paid years in office. However, having an annual salary higher than that of the President of the United States is not something most people can do.

How Much Does Anthony Fauci Have in the Bank?
In January 2022, Fauci’s financial records were released and they showed that he was worth well over $8 million. Also, he and his wife Christine Grady have a combined net worth of $10,400,000. Grady works as a bioethicist at the National Institutes of Health and earns $176,000 a year. Forbes has said in the past that Fauci deserves more than “the president, four-star generals and about 4.3 million of his peers.”
US President Joe Biden speaks to reporters in the Cabinet Room of the White House ahead of a cabinet meeting March 3, 2022 in Washington, DC. President Biden spoke today in a secure video call with Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio about the war in Ukraine.
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has a branch called NIAID, where Fauci makes more than his boss, Francis Collins, who made $203,500 last year. Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, Collins’ boss, also made $203,500 a year, which is nowhere near Fauci’s salary. According to the 5 percent pay increase, his retirement will be worth $365,598 plus his 2 percent pension payment of $9,613 until he retires at the end of 2022, for a total of $375,211 per year. After 2024, when Biden’s term ends, Fauci will be paid a whopping $414,667 a year.

The Chief Medical Advisor to the President of the United States is 81 years old and studied medicine at Cornell University. The consultant is also a doctor, scientist and immunologist. dr Anthony Fauci, a leading infectious disease expert, finishes his testimony on COVID-19 before the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions on Capitol Hill in Washington on July 20, 2021.
Fauci is considered the country’s top infectious disease expert. Due to rules that were in place before 1984, he also receives a full federal pension and National Insurance. Previously, Fauci got into an argument with Kansas Senator Roger Marshall when Marshall asked to see Fauci’s financial records. Fauci called Marshall an “idiot” who was the highest-paid federal employee at the time. Marshall told Fauci that the so-called public records are not available and that “our office cannot find them.” Fauci replied, “I don’t know why you’re asking me that. My income and expenses are known to the public and have been for about 37 years. Then he said softly, “What a fool. Jesus.”
