how died dr Mario Gonzalez Murder?
dr Jorge Mario González Zamora, MD was born on February 17, 1953 in Guatemala City, Guatemala. His parents, the late Jorge Mario González Salvatierra and Madga Judith Zamora de González, died before their son was born. After graduating from medical school at Universidad de San Carlos in Guatemala City, Guatemala in 1977, he continued his education at Baylor College of Medicine, where he completed fellowships in pulmonary medicine, internal medicine, and critical care. He received his PhD in 1977. Both the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and Baylor College of Medicine gave him the correct appointments in their respective departments. A few years later he also established his own private practice.
On November 15, 2008, he married Charleen Chuke at the family ranch in Bellville, Texas and the ceremony took place there. They welcomed a son into the world and named him Mario Raphael Gonzalez. He was her first child. Jorge was a hard worker but also had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed his tractor and other livestock equipment, took his son for walks, and came home to enjoy his wife’s homemade chicken soup. As things got worse, the couple welcomed their second child into the world.
A 911 call was made by Charleen at approximately 12:15 p.m. on August 22, 2009 and was answered by the Bellville Police Department. On the phone, Charleen was heard sobbing and exclaiming, “Some guys are in our house!” They’re being shot at by my spouse! Gunshots rang out in the background, and a police officer was immediately called to the scene of the incident. When five police officers arrived at the secluded property around 12:30 p.m., they discovered a young Hispanic man, Noel Galvan-Cerna, sitting on the porch. They later discovered that he was the couple’s ranch hand. He had been wounded in the arm and the bullet had entered his chest before exiting his body.
The couple’s young child was also outside, crying. Police also discovered the lifeless bodies of Jorge lying on the floor and Charleen sobbing in a locked toilet. After successfully reconnecting the mother and her child, they turned their attention to Jorge. Police officers had the theory that the courageous doctor was involved in a fight with the perpetrators and had retreated to his home at some point during the conflict, only to be shot in the back with a 9mm handgun. After that, the attackers continued their attack, firing a few more shots into his back.

Who did the murder of Dr. Killed Mario Gonzalez?
After receiving Charleen’s 911 call, Officer Chris Rosales was making his way to the scene of the incident as he was responding to the scene. While near the Doctor’s Ranch, he noticed a white Ford F150 pickup truck speeding towards the scene of the incident. Chris determined by its behavior that it took part in the shooting and tried to prevent it from continuing. However, the truck was being pursued by a red Honda, and after the truck’s passenger shot the pursuer with a chrome pistol, both vehicles were able to successfully flee the scene.
Charleen shared how she saw attackers wearing black ski masks as she unpacked her truck after they drove to the property from her Houston home. Charleen and her family had traveled to the ranch from Houston. She screamed and ran into the house, and Jorge decided to tackle the attackers with his .357 pistol while Charleen locked himself in the bathroom. Charleen managed to escape the attackers by locking herself in the bathroom. She also explained that the injured Noel was the son of her nanny, Esperanza, and that the doctor had offered the young man a job at his ranch. She said the young man accepted the offer.
After examining the crime scene, investigators found discarded ski masks, a roll of duct tape, a hoodie and gloves at the property line of the Gonzalez residence. There was no DNA evidence on any of them, and the detectives seemed to have reached a point of no further progress. However, due to the keen observation of a Texas Ranger, it didn’t last long. A little over an hour later, while making his way to the crime scene, he came across a white pickup truck. After hearing the description of the cars that shot at his colleague, he decided to take down the license plate number before heading to the scene.
Investigators discovered that the license plate number was registered in the name of Sergio Bustillo, Esperanza’s boyfriend at the time. He shared his home with Esperanza, Noel, his two sisters, younger brother Moises and older brother Cristóbal. All lived together in the same house. During their questioning of Sergio, the police discovered that Moises and Cristóbal had used his truck on the morning of the murder. This information was obtained from Sergio. Police were able to locate them using cell phone records and both individuals were arrested on August 27, 2009.
The brothers admitted they had discussed taking Jorge’s family hostage to extort money from Jorge, but denied that Noel was involved in the scheme. Both Esperanza and Sergio supported this idea. However, because Cristóbal made a mistake when questioned by the police, authorities determined that her cousin Misael Santollo was also implicated in the crime. He also owned a red Honda. On September 1, 2009, Misael was taken into custody after being located through his phone records.
Misael is the one who admitted that Noel was the one who originally conceived the plan. Incriminating surveillance footage from a local McDonald’s was another piece of evidence uncovered by police that showed Noel was with his siblings and cousin shortly before the shooting. When the perpetrators discovered that Charleen had dialed 911, they quickly ended the robbery.

Who knows what happened to Moises, Noel and Cristobal Galvan-Cerna today
Each of the four arrested men was charged with first-degree murder. Prosecutors were unable to hand down a death sentence because the police needed to positively identify the person responsible for the crime and the authorities did not have sufficient evidence to make that determination. Both Moises and Misael completed pleadings and were subsequently sentenced to 50 and 38 years in prison, respectively. According to statistics maintained by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Moises will be eligible for parole in 2034. Misael is currently serving his time at the Memorial Unit (DA) located in Brazoria County, Texas. He is scheduled to be released in 2028.
However, Noel and Cristóbal were both charged with first-degree murder as authorities believed they bore the greatest responsibility for the crime. Noel was the alleged mastermind behind the crime, while Cristóbal was the alleged shooter. In February 2012, Cristóbal went to court and was found guilty; he was then sentenced to life imprisonment without possibility of release. According to the terms of his sentence, he was committed to a Texas correctional facility.
In November 2012, Noel appeared in court for rejecting a settlement. In addition, he was found guilty of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for his crime. He is currently serving his sentence in a cell at the John B. Connally Unit in Karnes County, Texas, according to official documents filed with the court.
Where can I find Charleen Gonzalez at this time?
Charleen also provided authorities with information about Noel’s employment history with the family. She further explained that he is her family’s nanny, Esperanza’s son, and that he drives her to work every day. In 2008, Jorge offered the young man a job opportunity at the ranch. She added: “When I first met Esperanza she seemed extremely lovely and sweet and she was a little shy. She did a wonderful job and Baby Mario really seemed to like her. Here’s what Charleen said of Noel when asked about him: “Noel was quite an amazing kid and we considered him family.”
Charleen was present throughout the trial, at which two of the defendants were found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. In February 2010, she gave birth to her second child, a son named Giovanni. She is now known by her new married name, Charleen Gonzalez Burleson, having recently entered into another marriage. Charleen has, for understandable reasons, decided to keep her personal life private from the public and that includes her whereabouts. On the other hand, it is very likely that she will still remain in Texas.
