Shane Clarke’s partner Joanne Bishop was killed when he stabbed her. why did he do that?
Shane Clarke dated Joanne Bishop for more than six years but their relationship deteriorated over time so Shane killed her.
When the couple were arguing, Miss Bishop may have said something about their relationship and told Shane to leave her house. She was killed in her own house, in her own bed, because their relationship was so bad.
At 6 a.m. on May 29, Joanne’s neighbor heard her screaming, but she did not go to her house immediately. Later her neighbors said they should have gone there and could have helped her.
Reports presented in court said their relationship had been rocky in the months leading up to this crime, but the defense was confident Miss Bishop was having an affair, despite no evidence.
Clarke was calm and collected as he admitted his crime, even though the way he had acted during the call was horrific and unusual.
