Netflix has released the trailer for upcoming Italian comedy-drama series Everything Calls for Salvation, based on Daniele Mencarelli’s acclaimed 2020 novel of the same name.

In this Italian show, a 20-year-old man named Daniele spends a week in the psychiatric ward of a mental hospital. There he meets five other patients and, with a little help from them, learns to live and love again.

This series shows how Daniele got his life back on track after he found himself in mental danger. With the help of his friends, he learned to be happy and find salvation.

Federico Cesari, Fortin Peluso, Andrea Pennacchi, Vincenzo Crea, Ricky Memphis and Carolina Crescentini are all part of the Everything Calls for Salvation cast. The show also stars Filippo Nigro, Vincenzo Nemolato, Lorenzo Renzi and Alessandro Pacioni. Federico Cesari, Carolina Crescentini and Filippo Nigro collaborate to make this show.

With this new show set in a mental institution, Netflix has another interesting idea. Taking the mental health nightmare as a starting point, this series looks like it’s going to tackle some important and timely issues. If done right, it could be both interesting and scary, showing a dark side of healthcare and the people who work in it. Based on books by Daniele Mencarelli, an Italian author, our main character spends seven days “in the hospital” with five other people who will help shape his future.

So, here’s a show that’s mostly about mental health. Who today can’t identify with, or at least be interested in, a show like this? The thought of one day waking up in a psychiatric ward is frightening and raises many questions that now need to be answered. It’s solid and on time. I can’t wait for the end of the show. This idea may have been made before, but this new, fun, and slightly frightening approach to the subject could set this series apart from the rest. Characters seem to be the focus of this show, which has a large cast and lots of storyline. If you like story based dramas with lots of mood swings like I do, this show might be for you.

The trailer for this show pretty much tells you everything you need to know about it. It has funny and sad parts, and if you’re watching this I bet you’ll at least want to watch the first episode.

I agree with this series and it is worth noting that it is based on the bestseller by an Italian author. As far as we can tell, the show seems to be literally faithful, which always bodes well for me. The main character, Daniele, is sentenced to 7 days in the ward, so it’s likely that we’ll meet the other patients. I’m sure their stories will be just as interesting as Daniele’s.

Daniele (Federico Cesari) has to undergo a TSO (Compulsory Health Treatment) for seven days. This is shown in seven episodes, one for each day. He will be cut off from the rest of the world for a week. During this time, he will face his deepest fears and learn to accept himself, which will help him form the strongest, most honest, and truest bonds of his life.

Everything Calls for Salvation is a new series coming to Netflix on October 14th. It is loosely based on Daniele Mencarelli’s acclaimed novel of the same name and was written and directed by Francesco Bruni.

Daniele (Federico Cesari) has one of the most intense and formative experiences of his life when he is forced to go to a spa for a week with people he doesn’t know and to live outside of his comfort zone.
