Eddie Mesa and Rosemarie Gil gave birth to Cherie Gil. They connected at a job. Michael Edward (Michael de Mesa), their first child, was born in 1960.
After the birth of their first child in 1961, they were united in marriage. They later gave birth to Raphael John (Mark Gil) and Evangeline Rose (Cherie Gil). However, they divorced in 1970 over marital issues, including Mesa’s alleged drinking and woman’s life.
