She had a long time crush on Paxton and now, after many ups and downs, differences and fights, they are finally walking hand in hand to Sherman Oaks.
Devi’s life is finally coming together and she’s enjoying being the girlfriend of the most popular boy in school. But this seat has its own problems. Throughout the story, Devi has to deal with many things and make some important decisions about her future. Here’s what happens at the end of Season 3 and what it means for Devi.
The plot of season 3 of Never Have I Ever
Everyone at school knows that Devi and Paxton are dating. Everyone talks about her, which used to make Devi happy. However, when she finds out people can’t believe Paxton could be dating someone like Devi, it becomes an issue. This makes Devi jealous, leading her to do things that worsen her relationship with Paxton. Meanwhile, Kamala tries to get Pati to let her date Devi’s teacher, Manish.
Rhyah becomes Nalini’s new boyfriend and Devi takes an interest in Rhyah’s son Des. It turns out they are a great couple for each other. Des is also smart and good looking, which makes Devi think her search for the perfect boyfriend might be over. But Devi Vishwakumar never has it so easy. Meanwhile, Fabiola and Aneesa find new feelings for each other, Eleanor and Trent take their relationship to the next level, and Ben still has feelings for Devi.
Who does Devi end up with at the end of Never Have I Ever Season 3?
Devi has two guys she likes, but in the third season she starts dating a third one. That’s all Devi was ever looking for, and the fact that he’s Native American makes him perfect. Des comes just in time to make her feel better after breaking up with Paxton. They hit it off right away, and while there are a few bumps along the way, they end up together.
Devi doesn’t have as much trouble with Des as Paxton. Since they attend different schools, she has the space she needs to keep their relationship healthy. She doesn’t see him with hotter and better girls, so she doesn’t get jealous. This is also a fresh start as Des doesn’t know anything about when Devi was in a wheelchair and she has no reason to date anyone else while she’s with Des. Everything is going pretty well because she has a clean slate and Des is the perfect mix of what she was looking for in Paxton and Ben.
Des’ mother Rhyah, on the other hand, doesn’t want her son involved in Devi’s “too many” problems. Devi is still struggling to process her father’s death and Rhyah sees this as a sign that she is not stable. She doesn’t want Des getting involved in Devi’s drama, especially in his senior year when his future is being decided. Devi really likes Des, but he can’t stand up to his mother, so they have to break up.
Once again, two people are separating Devi, giving her a chance to step back and look at herself. At the start of the season, her therapist says that if she’s not happy with herself, she won’t find happiness anywhere else. Even though her life is going through many changes, there is one person who has always been there for her. ben
Despite being in a relationship with Aneesa, Ben had always liked Devi. He remains friends with her even after she broke his heart by choosing Paxton over him. Though he struggles with his own schedule, he’s always on the lookout for Devi. Although he keeps his feelings to himself most of the time, he deals with them. Still, that doesn’t help his relationship with Aneesa. When she finds out Ben isn’t over Devi, she breaks up with him.
Ben seems to be Devi’s only choice after Paxton and Des are out of the picture, and it turns out he was the best all along. Ben makes fun of Devi when she says she’s a virgin. He tells her that even if she’s dying, he’ll give her “a free fuck.” When she shows up at his door, she forces him to keep his word. Her story began with her wanting to lose her virginity and now she feels Ben is the right person to help her with that.
After everything that’s happened, it makes sense that Devi would have an easier time with Ben. Although she felt some pressure to impress Paxton and be good enough for him, she had always felt comfortable around Ben. She never had to hide, feel bad, or wonder who she was. Ben knew her better, having seen her through good times and bad. She had been looking for someone who would accept her for who she was and now she sees that Ben was there all along. When she knocks on his door at the end, it seems like they can finally be together without another crush getting in the way.
Will Devi go to Shrubland School instead of Sherman Oaks?
Devi will make the most of her final year at school. But when she learns that she was accepted into Shrubland, a very good boarding school, she considers leaving Sherman Oaks. Although Nalini initially doesn’t want Devi to go a year early, she listens to Kamala and they go to Shrubland to see what it has to offer. It looks like Devi is finally feeling like she fits in there.
Although Shrubland gives Devi the opportunity to meet new people and start a new life, she can’t help but think of all the people she would have to leave behind. Paxton has already graduated from high school and is moving to Arizona. The rest of her friends have busy lives, and since this is her senior year of high school, this will be the last time she hangs out with them before they all go to different colleges. She also knows that she will only be with her mother every day for another year. Once she goes to college, they don’t see each other every day.
Devi’s father died suddenly, so she knows that life is unpredictable and that anything can happen at any time. Nobody knows what will happen next, so she thinks it’s best to spend the time she has left with the people she loves. Devi decides to stay at Sherman Oaks and work on her grades in order to get into Princeton, although Shrubland looks like a great place and would be a great opportunity for her.
