The Poison singer intends to keep her personal life private, the insider continued, although the couple could be throwing a huge party soon.
Rita wants to keep the relationship as quiet as possible despite her life in the spotlight. She also didn’t want to make a big deal out of the wedding. There will be a grand celebration in the spirit of show business, but don’t expect it to be sold to the highest-paying publication.
Rita Ora is getting married for the first time, but Taika Waititi has been married before, to Chelsea Winstanley, with whom he has two children.
Chelsea Winstanley and Taika Waititi met after Winstanley interviewed the director for a television documentary series about Maori artists. They married in New York City in 2011.
Winstanley is a New Zealand-based film producer alongside Merata: How Mom Decolonised the Screen, Te Whakarauora Tangata, Ebony Society, Meathead, Night Shift, Sonny, My Older Brother, Waru, Sech’el, Little King, Forgive Me and others.
According to IMDb, Chelsea also worked on the Oscar-winning film Jojo Rabbit and the 2019 mockumentary What We Do in the Shadows.
Chelsea has a seat in the production department of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, in addition to producing and directing. Winstanley received the title of New Zealand Order of Merit. She is a single mother who raised her son Maia.
Winstanley and Waititi have two children together: Te Hinekhu (7) and Matewa Kiritapu (4). At movie premieres, Waititi often travels with his girls and often posts pictures of them on Instagram.
The girls saw Waititi’s directorial debut Thor: Love And Thunder in 2022 and the premiere of The Lion King in 2019. The two girls also play the Asgardian youths in the film.
The Kiwi couple divorced in 2018, according to Page Six, but they didn’t discuss it in the media until 2020.

Waititi and Ora apparently met in 2018, according to an Instagram post posted by the Let You Love Me singer on Valentine’s Day 2022.
When the singer shared a photo of an unnamed man holding her in 2021, some speculated he might be Waititi himself. This led to relationship speculation about the couple.
