As one of the top Christian writers in the world, she is dedicated to bringing people of all ages together through the popular podcast Bridges, which she co-hosts and co-produces with Patsy Clairmont and Andrew Greer.
The two characters talk about spiritual connections to try to bring their different ideas closer together. Andrew, a singer, songwriter, and author, is the perfect yin for her yang. Together they have guests like Tasha Layton, Andrew Peterson and Kathie Lee Gifford.
In fact, faith is greater than race and sex. To celebrate Black History Month, they engaged in a series of intense conversations with their guests as they shared their experiences of racism. Sitting around a table and asking questions may not change the fundamentals of the country, but it does help people learn more about the people on the other side.
The global pandemic caused racial tensions and political unrest even though people just wanted to protect all life.
Their main goal has also always been to teach each other new things as they come together through their stories, music and faith.
The podcast is currently ranked in Apple’s Top 15 Religion & Spirituality Podcasts, which shows how useful it is and how much people need it in today’s world.
How long have Patsy Clairmont and her husband Les been together?
Patsy Clairmont met her husband, writer Les Clairmont, when she was 17. When he was 18, she left school to marry him. Their age difference is only one year, but since they got married, they are happy.
It didn’t take long for her to win his heart, but their relationship hadn’t been easy.
Les had a series of health issues that dampened his spirit.
It all started three decades ago when he had his second heart attack and needed a triple bypass. The treatment didn’t help him at all, and after his third heart attack, he had to be placed on medical leave so he could live longer.
In 2015, she shared with her fans on Facebook that her boyfriend had a fatal infection in the lower part of his left leg and had to be put under anesthesia. His heart disease and diabetes made it harder for him to get well, but they fought the disease with equal vigor.
She recently said he was starting chemotherapy because he had stage four cancer and she asked for prayers to help them through their sad time.
Despite knowing the signs, she ignored them as she walked up the hill to get the mail, huffing and puffing. She figured it was because she was getting older and that all she needed was a good exercise regimen and she’d be good as new.
She did not go to the doctor as a sharp pain in her arm spread to the rest of her body. Instead, she moved more.
When her husband saw the beads of sweat on her forehead, he answered quickly and immediately made an appointment for her. Although she needed surgery, her friends and family were there for her.
Do Patsy Clairmont and Les have children?
Patsy Clairmont and her husband Les, to whom she has been married for 50 years, have two sons, Marty and Jason. Marty is the oldest and Jason is the youngest.
They don’t use social media, but their second son Jason and his friend Caleb Farley started a company called Socially Smart. For $8 per month, parents can join a group of spiritual leaders and caregivers who want to help teach their children about spirituality.
The site also allows you to join an exclusive Facebook community group where you can ask any of your social media or technology related questions in one safe place. She was so proud of what he had done and excited that he was beginning to make the world a better place for her grandchildren and their families.
Additionally, when she developed agoraphobia and started having anxiety attacks and endless anxiety cycles, she almost stopped loving her family.
Thanks to her doctor, she was put in touch with a group called Recovery Inc. She went to two meetings a week and eventually became the leader of the group. It was difficult for her to get out of her situation, but when she joined Grace Baptist Church everything changed.
In an interview with friend Rose Phillips, she spoke more about being the spokesperson for Women of Faith for 11 years. Her audience is much larger than the thousands she reaches every weekend because she mixes humor and reality, which makes all the difference.

Being a bookworm since childhood and a former member of Spelling Bees, it was clear that she should follow her dreams. Her favorite games were Scrabble, and she still plays Words with Friends all the time.
Her Southern upbringing in Michigan and Tennessee was full of cowgirl boots and porch mayor, her one true love of life.
In fact, she began writing after her first book, God Uses Cracked Pots, was published in 1991.
As an author who works with different types of writing, such as devotional, fiction, and children’s books, it became clear that she needed a stack of books to read.
I Grew Up Little, God Uses Cracked Pots, Stepping Stones, A Garden Path and Sleep Sweet are just a few of her most famous works.
But women know her as a mystery that God loves very much because she was the first speaker at Women of Faith. She has become a shining example for her peers because she speaks about her life and tells stories from it in big arenas in big cities.
