Why do fans think ABC News’ Cecilia Vega will get pregnant in 2022?

After Cecilia Vega slipped a bit of her tongue during ABC’s live news segment on the arrest of al-Qaeda commander Ayman al-Zawahiri, Chief White House Correspondent for ABC News Cecilia Vega is trending on Twitter.

Rumors about the journalist’s pregnancy are circulating online as it draws the attention of netizens.

Let’s find out more about the ABC journalist’s husband and baby rumors and whether or not the correspondent is expecting a child.

Is ABC News’ Cecilia Vega Pregnant in 2022?

Since ABC News’ Cecilia Vega hasn’t made any pregnancy-related mentions on her social media, it doesn’t appear that she will be pregnant in 2022.

The fact that the journalist did not have a baby bump during previous live television appearances supports the assumption that she is not pregnant. Much like none of her peers have spoken out about her pregnancy, neither has her husband mentioned their upcoming baby.

The journalist currently appears to be focused on her professional endeavors and her role as ABC News’ sophomore White House chief reporter. Given that this is a fantastic opportunity for her and her career, it doesn’t look like the 45-year-old will be retiring any time soon. She can now enjoy being a canine parent to her favorite dog, Jalisco Jiménez, a sweet little Frenchman that Cecilia and her husband spoil with love.

After Cecilia Vega and Ricardo Jimenez Zepeda got married on August 16, 2008, they were together for almost 14 years. The couple likes to post photos of themselves on social media with their adorable dog.

Last year Vega posted a photo of the couple celebrating their 13th wedding anniversary and wrote:

Ricardo, the journalist’s husband, is a former California Highway Patrol officer who enjoys biking and seeing new places.

As he says on his Instagram account, “Swapped my S&W.40 caliber for a Sony A7rIV”, Jimenez is active on social media and enjoys posting photos of his travel journals taken with a Sony A7rIV.

Both Ricardo and Cecilia love their dog and both share pictures of him on social media and have a special account just for him.

What sparked the baby rumors?

ABC News viewers believed journalist Cecilia Vega was pregnant, leading to the spread of pregnancy rumors. The journalist is often mistaken for being pregnant because she has been married for more than 13 years, is in her mid-40s and has never had children.

It’s possible that her recent Instagram post announcing that she had tested positive sparked the pregnancy speculation.

Unfortunately, the test kit the journalist uploaded a picture of was positive for a Covid test and not a pregnancy test, which may mislead some of her readers.

Be confident Cecilia appears to have recovered from her virus after seeing her on Good Morning America and the news. The fact that ABC News’ senior White House correspondent has not addressed the allegations about her pregnancy makes her less convincing.
